Nursing Home & Assisted Living Duct Cleaning in NJ

USA Air Management cleans air ducts, air handlers and laundry dryer vents in New Jersey nursing homes and assisted living communities, one wing or section at a time so residents stay in place. We plan the work with your maintenance director and leave written records for your files. Call (877) 811-5131 to discuss your facility.

Administrators and maintenance directors: (877) 811-5131 or (908) 731-7090. Mon–Fri 9 am–6 pm, Sat 9 am–3 pm.

Residents are home around the clock

A care facility never empties out. Residents may be frail, sensitive to dust and noise, and unable to leave their rooms easily. That shapes how we work:

  • Section by section. We clean one wing, unit or floor at a time, agreed in advance with staff.
  • HEPA-filtered equipment for the duct cleaning.
  • Coordination with staff. Your maintenance director and nursing or infection-control staff set the order of areas and any restrictions.
  • Short disruptions per room, with equipment kept out of corridors used for resident movement where possible.

The central laundry

Linens, gowns and residents' clothing keep the facility's dryers running much of the day. We clean each dryer's exhaust to the outside termination. A facility laundry handles far more lint than a home. Large commercial dryers, manifolds and lint collectors are all in scope.

Air handlers and coils

Larger facilities run several air handlers. We clean blower compartments, coils and drain pans along with the ductwork. See air handler and coil cleaning.

Inspections and documentation

Care facilities answer to several inspectors, including state surveyors and the local fire official. We follow all applicable New Jersey state requirements and provide a written record of the cleaning, organized by system, to keep in your maintenance files.

Nursing home and assisted living FAQs

Can you clean ducts while residents are in the building?

Yes. We clean one section at a time, with the order and timing set by your staff, so residents don't need to relocate for long. HEPA-filtered equipment is used for the duct work.

Do you clean nursing home laundry dryer vents?

Yes. We clean the exhaust from each laundry dryer to the outside and check the cap and damper. High-volume care laundries need closer attention than household dryers.

What records do you leave for state surveys and fire inspections?

You get a written record of the cleaning, organized by system, to keep with your maintenance files. We follow all applicable New Jersey state requirements. Ask your surveyors and fire official what they expect to see so we can include it.

How do you work with our infection-control staff?

We plan the sequence of areas with your maintenance director and infection-control staff before starting and follow the restrictions they set for each unit.

Do you clean air handlers as well as ducts?

Yes. Blower compartments, coils and drain pans can be cleaned in the same project as the ducts.
