Duct cleaning for South River homes on both sides of Main Street.
Local homes
The borough is mostly detached houses, and about 75% were built before 1980. About a third of residents rent, and we clean systems for both owners and landlords.
Inside local duct systems
About 66% of homes are lived in by their owners; detached houses make up 75% of the total.
We also work in Newton Heights and nearby East Brunswick.
The borough began on February 23, 1870, as the town of Washington within East Brunswick Township.
It sits on a bend of the river it is named for, with older two-family homes near Main Street and postwar houses further out. Two-family basements here often hold a separate furnace for each unit, and each one has its own set of ducts.
In houses from the 1950s and earlier, the original sheet-metal ducts are usually still in place, often with newer flex runs added for central air.
