Randolph homes and their ductwork
Randolph's hills sit upstream of the Black, Whippany and Rockaway rivers and the South Branch of the Raritan. About 34% of homes date to the 1980s and 1990s, many with two-zone systems.
What we see in Randolph duct systems
Gas is the main heating fuel in Randolph, used in about 73% of homes. If you heat with oil through a forced-air furnace, dark streaks at the registers are a sign the ducts need cleaning.
Randolph's hills sit upstream of the Black, Whippany and Rockaway rivers and the South Branch of the Raritan, and its streams once powered local industry. The County College of Morris, established in 1968, occupies more than 220 acres along Route 10.
Our technicians clean ducts in Black River Pond, Calais, Center Grove, Fernbrook, Ironia and Mill Brook and the rest of Randolph.
Randolph became a township on January 1, 1806.
The creation of Victory Gardens created a small triangular exclave of the township, surrounded by Victory Gardens to the southeast and Dover to the northwest. Randolph became a vacation haven in the early part of the 20th century, known for its woods, ponds, lakes and air. Through the 1950s, farms, large hotels and bungalow colonies dotted the community. The Randolph Historical Society has preserved the township's historical heritage in the Museum of Old Randolph.
